PARENTS/COACHES: 
Palmetto Region has a NO-TOLERANCE policy on screaming, yelling, or making any derogatory remarks to ANY official ( Up ref, down ref, or line judges). Keep in mind.. they are human.. and most of the time they are kids. Penalty is immediate dismissal from gym, no warning. Region teams may face sanction to participate in future tournaments.  

Officials/ Players (NEW FOR 2008): 
Palmetto Region requires that while on officiating duty, no one is to have in possession a cell phone, I-pod or song listening device, or food. This includes R1 Up Ref, R2 Down Ref, Line Judges and especially, scorekeepers.  First offense will be a warning, 2nd offense will be loss of official certification, 3rd may include sanction from tournament play.   

All region tournaments will begin at 8:30am, unless otherwise posted. Gyms open at 8am, All teams must report to captains meeting at 8:15 in the event of schedule change.

         From Greenville

  • Take I-385 South to I-26 East towards Charleston. 

  • When you get to Columbia take I-20 East towards Florence.

  • Follow I-20 towards Florence until you come to 277 towards downtown Columbia

  • 277 will turn into Bull Street. 

  • Follow Bull Street until you come to Elmwood Ave.

  • Take a right on Elmwood Avenue towards I-126

  • Get in left lane and merge onto Huger Street right before Elmwood turns into 126

  • Follow Huger Street and get in the right hand land

  • Immediately following the BellSouth building turn right

  • Follow the street around to the left and then to the right and go over the river

  • Immediately after the river take the first exit and take a right on to Sunset Blvd off the exit ramp

  • Follow Sunset Blvd 1-2 miles and the church will be on your right.

            From Florence

  • Take I-20 West towards Columbia

  • Take 277 towards downtown Columbia

  • 277 will turn into Bull Street.  Follow Bull Street until you come to Elmwood Ave.

  • Take a right on Elmwood Avenue towards I-126

  • Get in left lane and merge onto Huger Street right before Elmwood turns into 126

  • Follow Huger and get in the right hand lane

  • Immediately following the BellSouth building turn right and follow the street around to the left and then to the right and go over the river

  • Immediately after the river take the first exit and take a right on to Sunset Blvd off the exit ramp

  • Follow Sunset Blvd 1-2 miles and the church will be on your right.

From Charleston

  • Take I-26 West from Charleston

  • Take the US 1 exit (#111B) towards West Columbia

  • Follow Augusta Highway approximately 1mile and when the road forks stay left.

  • Follow Jarvis Klapman until you come to the 12th Street intersection.

  • Take a left on to 12th Street and go about ½ mile

  • Take a right onto Sunset Blvd and the church will be on your left.
