PARENTS/COACHES: 
Palmetto Region has a NO-TOLERANCE policy on screaming, yelling, or making any derogatory remarks to ANY official ( Up ref, down ref, or line judges). Keep in mind.. they are human.. and most of the time they are kids. Penalty is immediate dismissal from gym, no warning. Region teams may face sanction to participate in future tournaments.  

Officials/ Players (NEW FOR 2008): 
Palmetto Region requires that while on officiating duty, no one is to have in possession a cell phone, I-pod or song listening device, or food. This includes R1 Up Ref, R2 Down Ref, Line Judges and especially, scorekeepers.  First offense will be a warning, 2nd offense will be loss of official certification, 3rd may include sanction from tournament play.   

All region tournaments will begin at 8:30am, unless otherwise posted. Gyms open at 8am, All teams must report to captains meeting at 8:15 in the event of schedule change.

DIRECTIONS:

From Augusta:  Take I-20 E to to I-26 E. to I-126 into Columbia.  Follow directions from Spartanburg in italics.

From Charleston:  Take I-26 W to I-126 into Columbia.  Follow directions from Spartanburg in italics.

From Florence:  Take I-20 W to I-277 into Columbia.  Take I-277 all the way into Columbia.  I-277 will turn into Bull St. when it reaches Columbia.  Take Bull St. until it crosses Gervais St.  Take a left onto Gervais St. and follow the directions from Spartanburg that are underlined.

From Spartanburg:  Take I-26 E to I-126 into Columbia.  I-126 will branch off into either Elmwood Ave or Huger St.  Veer off to the right and take Huger St.  Take a left onto Gervais St.  Make a right onto Millwood Ave.  Gym will be on the left after 1 mile.
