PARENTS/COACHES:
Palmetto Region has a NO-TOLERANCE policy on screaming, yelling, or making any
derogatory remarks to ANY official ( Up ref, down ref, or line judges). Keep in
mind.. they are human.. and most of the time they are kids. Penalty is immediate
dismissal from gym, no warning. Region teams may face sanction to participate in
future tournaments.
Officials/ Players (NEW FOR 2008):
Palmetto Region requires that while on officiating duty, no one is to have in
possession a cell phone, I-pod or song listening device, or food. This includes
R1 Up Ref, R2 Down Ref, Line Judges and especially, scorekeepers. First offense
will be a warning, 2nd offense will be loss of official certification, 3rd may
include sanction from tournament play.
All region tournaments will begin at 8:30am, unless otherwise posted. Gyms open at 8am, All teams must report to captains meeting at 8:15 in the event of schedule change.

From Charleston: Take I-26 to Columbia, then I-77 to Charlotte. Take Exit #10 (Jackson Blvd / Fort Jackson). Turn right at the light towards Fort Jackson. Pass Gate 1 and onto the circle. Turn right at the 3rd street onto Jackson Blvd. Turn left at the 2nd street onto Beauregard (Wachovia ATM). Turn right at the 2nd stop sign onto Sumter. Go past Buildings 3200-3230 and turn right onto a "one way" (sign) street directly before Building #3240 (sign saying "Branch Exchange Visual Marketing Shop Barrack Phone Services"). The TCC is in the back, Building #3255.
From Charlotte: Take I-77 towards Charleston. Take Exit #12 (Forest Drive / Strom Thurmond Blvd / Fort Jackson). Turn left at the light towards Fort Jackson. Pass Gate 2 and then turn right at the 1st light onto Magruder. Turn right at the 2nd stop sign onto Gregg Street. Turn left at the next stop sign onto Sumter. Go past Buildings 3280-3240 and then turn directly after Building #3240 onto a "one way" (sign) street (sign saying "Branch Exchange Visual Marketing Shop Barrack Phone Services"). The TCC is in the back, Building #3255.
