PARENTS/COACHES: 
Palmetto Region has a NO-TOLERANCE policy on screaming, yelling, or making any derogatory remarks to ANY official ( Up ref, down ref, or line judges). Keep in mind.. they are human.. and most of the time they are kids. Penalty is immediate dismissal from gym, no warning. Region teams may face sanction to participate in future tournaments.  

Officials/ Players (NEW FOR 2008): 
Palmetto Region requires that while on officiating duty, no one is to have in possession a cell phone, I-pod or song listening device, or food. This includes R1 Up Ref, R2 Down Ref, Line Judges and especially, scorekeepers.  First offense will be a warning, 2nd offense will be loss of official certification, 3rd may include sanction from tournament play.   

All region tournaments will begin at 8:30am, unless otherwise posted. Gyms open at 8am, All teams must report to captains meeting at 8:15 in the event of schedule change.

 

        From Greenville

  • Take I-385 South to I-26 East towards Charleston.

  • In Columbia follow I-26 until I-77 interchange.

  • Take I-77 North towards Charlotte.

  • Take the Exit 5 SC 48N/Bluff Road Exit

  • Take a left at the light at the end of the ramp. 

  • Travel approximately ¼ mile and turn left at the light for S. Beltline Blvd

  • Follow S Beltline Blvd until it dead ends at the school.

  • The gym will be to the left. 

From Florence

  • Take I-20 West towards Columbia.

  • In Columbia take I-77 South towards Charleston

  • Follow I-77 until you reach Exit 5 SC 48/Bluff Road

  • Take a right off of the exit ramp and then take an immediate left on S Beltline Blvd

  • Follow S Beltline Blvd until it dead ends at the school.

  • The gym will be to the left. 

From Charleston

  • Take I-26 West towards Columbia.

  • In Columbia take I-77 N towards Charlotte

  • Take the Exit 5 SC 48N/Bluff Road Exit

  • Take a left at the light at the end of the ramp. 

  • Travel approximately ¼ mile and turn left at the light for S. Beltline Blvd

  • Follow S Beltline Blvd until it dead ends at the school.

  • The gym will be to the left.
