PARENTS/COACHES: 
Palmetto Region has a NO-TOLERANCE policy on screaming, yelling, or making any derogatory remarks to ANY official ( Up ref, down ref, or line judges). Keep in mind.. they are human.. and most of the time they are kids. Penalty is immediate dismissal from gym, no warning. Region teams may face sanction to participate in future tournaments.  

Officials/ Players (NEW FOR 2008): 
Palmetto Region requires that while on officiating duty, no one is to have in possession a cell phone, I-pod or song listening device, or food. This includes R1 Up Ref, R2 Down Ref, Line Judges and especially, scorekeepers.  First offense will be a warning, 2nd offense will be loss of official certification, 3rd may include sanction from tournament play.   

All region tournaments will begin at 8:30am, unless otherwise posted. Gyms open at 8am, All teams must report to captains meeting at 8:15 in the event of schedule change.

DIRECTIONS:

From Augusta:  Take I-20 towards Columbia and then I-26 towards Spartanburg.  Get off at Exit #106B, staying in the right-hand lane.  Exit onto St. Andrews Road and go past the Kroger.  Turn left onto Kay Street at the Blockbuster Video store.  Go to the end of Kay Street and make a right onto Beatty Road.  The gym is approximately one block on the right.

From Charleston:  Take I-26 to Exit #106B, staying in the right-hand lane.  Exit onto St. Andrews Road and go past the Kroger.  Turn left onto Kay Street at the Blockbuster Video store.  Go to the end of Kay Street and make a right onto Beatty Road.  The gym is approximately one block on the right.

From Charlotte / Florence:  Take I-77 towards Columbia and then take the I-20 West exit.  Get off on the I-26 exit towards Spartanburg and then take Exit #106B, staying in the right-hand lane.  Exit onto St. Andrews Road and go past the Kroger.  Turn left onto Kay Street at the Blockbuster Video store.  Go to the end of Kay Street and make a right onto Beatty Road.  The gym is approximately one block on the right.

From Greenville / Spartanburg:  Take I-26 to Exit #106.  Make a left onto St. Andrews Road and go past the Kroger.  Turn left onto Kay Street at the Blockbuster Video store.  Go to the end of Kay Street and make a right onto Beatty Road.  The gym is approximately one block on the right.

 

Greenville / Spartanburg:  If you are on I-20 coming from either direction, get onto I-26 towards Spartanburg and follow the Charleston directions.
