PARENTS/COACHES:
Palmetto Region has a NO-TOLERANCE policy on screaming, yelling, or making any
derogatory remarks to ANY official ( Up ref, down ref, or line judges). Keep in
mind.. they are human.. and most of the time they are kids. Penalty is immediate
dismissal from gym, no warning. Region teams may face sanction to participate in
future tournaments.
Officials/ Players (NEW FOR 2008):
Palmetto Region requires that while on officiating duty, no one is to have in
possession a cell phone, I-pod or song listening device, or food. This includes
R1 Up Ref, R2 Down Ref, Line Judges and especially, scorekeepers. First offense
will be a warning, 2nd offense will be loss of official certification, 3rd may
include sanction from tournament play.
All
region tournaments will begin at 8:30am, unless otherwise posted. Gyms open at
8am, All teams must report to captains meeting at 8:15 in the event of schedule
change.

DIRECTIONS:
From Augusta:
Take I-20 E and get off on Exit # 55.
Make a right toward Redbank. Follow
directions for Spartanburg that are underlined.
From Charleston:
Take I-26 W to I-20 W and follow the
directions for Spartanburg in italics.
From Florence:
Take I-20 W and follow the directions for
Spartanburg in italics.
From Spartanburg:
Take I-26 E to I-20 W.
Get
off on Exit #55 (Hwy 6). Make a
left off the exit ramp and go toward Redbank, away from Lexington.
Go 5 miles. Past the Post Office and then at the Food Lion make a right
onto Platt Springs Rd at the light. School
will be on your left after 6/10 of a mile.
