(Dacusville Elementary - Greenville/Spartanburg, SC)
PARENTS/COACHES:
Palmetto Region has a NO-TOLERANCE policy on screaming, yelling, or making any
derogatory remarks to ANY official ( Up ref, down ref, or line judges). Keep in
mind.. they are human.. and most of the time they are kids. Penalty is immediate
dismissal from gym, no warning. Region teams may face sanction to participate in
future tournaments.
Officials/ Players (NEW FOR 2008):
Palmetto Region requires that while on officiating duty, no one is to have in
possession a cell phone, I-pod or song listening device, or food. This includes
R1 Up Ref, R2 Down Ref, Line Judges and especially, scorekeepers. First offense
will be a warning, 2nd offense will be loss of official certification, 3rd may
include sanction from tournament play.
All region tournaments will begin at 8:30am, unless otherwise posted. Gyms open at 8am, All teams must report to captains meeting at 8:15 in the event of schedule change.

DIRECTIONS:
From Anderson: Take Hwy. 178 to Hwy. 135 toward Dacusville. Turn right onto Hwy 186 and the school should be on the left in Dacusville.
From Clemson: Take Hwy. 123 to Hwy. 135 toward Dacusville. Turn right onto Hwy 186 and the school should be on the left in Dacusville.
From Clemson through Easley: Take Hwy. 123 to Hwy 135 Exit (approximately 17 miles). At the bottom of the exit, turn left toward Easley onto Hwy 135. Go past tEasley High School, cross over Main Street and the rail road tracks (approximately 1 mile) and then turn right onto Hwy 135. Take the next left (1 block) which wil keep you on Hwy 135. Saty on Hwy 135 to the 4-way stop at Hwy 183 (approximately 4 miles). Turn right toward Greenville onto Hwy 183 and go straight at the 4-way intersection of Hwy 135 (approximately 6 miles) to the next red light (approximately 4 miles - - Clock Restaurant on the right). Turn left at the red light onto Cherokee Trail. Go approximately 0.5 miles (road forks at old store) and bear right. Go approximately 1 mile (road forks) and bear right, which is Thomas Mill Road (crooked road). Go approximately 0.5 miles and the school will be on the left, with the gym at the back.
From Clemson through Pickens: Take Hwy. 133 through Six Mile to Hwy 183 (approximately 11 miles). Turn right onto 183 toward Pickens. Go through Pickens, past the Pickens High School to the red light at the bottom of the hill (approximately 10 miles). Turn right toward Greenville (still Hwy 183) and go straight at the 4-way intersection of Hwy 135 (approximately 6 miles) to the next red light (approximately 4 miles - - Clock Restaurant on the right). Turn left at the red light onto Cherokee Trail. Go approximately 0.5 miles (road forks at old store) and bear right. Go approximately 1 mile (road forks) and bear right, which is Thomas Mill Road (crooked road). Go approximately 0.5 miles and the school will be on the left, with the gym at the back.
From Greenville/Spartanburg: Take Hwy. 25 in Greenville off of I-85 it is White Horse Road (from I-85 it is 10-15 miles to Hwy 183). Turn left onto Hwy 183 toward Pickens (there is a BP Station on the corner). Go approximately 4 miles to a red light and turn right onto Thomas-Mill Road (Clock Drive In). Go approximately 1.2 miles and bear left at the fork as it turns into Cherokee Trail Road. Go to the stop sign and turn right (there is a Texaco on the corner) and the school will be on the left.
