PARENTS/COACHES:
Palmetto Region has a NO-TOLERANCE policy on screaming, yelling, or making any
derogatory remarks to ANY official ( Up ref, down ref, or line judges). Keep in
mind.. they are human.. and most of the time they are kids. Penalty is immediate
dismissal from gym, no warning. Region teams may face sanction to participate in
future tournaments.
Officials/ Players (NEW FOR 2008):
Palmetto Region requires that while on officiating duty, no one is to have in
possession a cell phone, I-pod or song listening device, or food. This includes
R1 Up Ref, R2 Down Ref, Line Judges and especially, scorekeepers. First offense
will be a warning, 2nd offense will be loss of official certification, 3rd may
include sanction from tournament play.
All region tournaments will begin at 8:30am, unless otherwise posted. Gyms open at 8am, All teams must report to captains meeting at 8:15 in the event of schedule change.

DIRECTIONS:
From Atlanta: Take I-85 South and then get off at Exit 21, Hwy 178. Turn toward Liberty/Clemson and then go to Hwy 93. Turn left and go past the Liberty Middle School approximately 1 mile on Hwy 93 toward Clemson. Turn right at Fooders Food Mart and the gym will be on the left on the right side of the school.
From Greenville/Spartanburg: From I-85 South to Exit 40, Hwy 153 (Hardees at Easley exit). Turn right onto Easley and stay on Hwy 153 approximately 4 miles. Hwy 153 circles into Hwy 123 toward Easley. Stay on Hwy 123 through Easley - - once you get on Hwy 123, you will go approximately 2 miles and come to Hwy 93 that bears off to the right toward Pickens; do not take this Hwy 93 exit and continue on Hwy 123. You will cross over Hwy 8 and 135. Take the next exit to the right (Hwy 93 to Liberty/Norris). Stay on Hwy 93 into Liberty which is approximately 7 miles. Go past the Liberty Middle School approximately 1 mile on Hwy 93 toward Clemson. Turn right at Fooders Food Mart and the gym will be on the left on the right side of the school.
