PARENTS/COACHES:
Palmetto Region has a NO-TOLERANCE policy on screaming, yelling, or making any
derogatory remarks to ANY official ( Up ref, down ref, or line judges). Keep in
mind.. they are human.. and most of the time they are kids. Penalty is immediate
dismissal from gym, no warning. Region teams may face sanction to participate in
future tournaments.
Officials/ Players (NEW FOR 2008):
Palmetto Region requires that while on officiating duty, no one is to have in
possession a cell phone, I-pod or song listening device, or food. This includes
R1 Up Ref, R2 Down Ref, Line Judges and especially, scorekeepers. First offense
will be a warning, 2nd offense will be loss of official certification, 3rd may
include sanction from tournament play.
All region tournaments will begin at 8:30am, unless otherwise posted. Gyms open at 8am, All teams must report to captains meeting at 8:15 in the event of schedule change.

DIRECTIONS: (see below)
From Aiken / Augusta: Take Hwy 25 North. Go through town on 25/178. Turn right onto 72/23/221 bypass. At the next light, turn left on to 254/Cokesburry Road. The High School will be approximately 1 mile on the right.
From Athens: Take Hwy 72 East to the 72 Bypass. Cross through the 25/178 intersection and at the next light, turn left on to 254/Cokesburry Road. The High School will be approximately 1 mile on the right.
From Columbia (south side of town): If you are coming from the south side of Columbia or from Lexington, you may want to take 378 through Saluda to 178. This meets up with Hwy 25 on the south side of Greenwood. Go through town on 25/178. Turn right onto 72/23/221 bypass. At the next light, turn left on to 254/Cokesburry Road. The High School will be approximately 1 mile on the right.
From Columbia / Charleston: Take 26 West to the Newberry / Hwy 219 Exit (#76). Go left towards Newberry, then take Hwy 34 and follow the Greenwood signs. Go through the town of "96" and once near Greenwood, take a right onto the 25/178/221 bypass (look for the "Civic Center" sign). At approximately the 8th light, turn right onto 254/Cokesburry Road. The High School will be approximately 1 mile on the right.
From Greenville: Take Hwy 25 South. Pass the Bi-Lo and then make a left onto Northside Drive (Exxon). At the next light, turn right onto 254/Cokesburry Road. The High School will be approximately 1 mile on the right.
