PARENTS/COACHES: 
Palmetto Region has a NO-TOLERANCE policy on screaming, yelling, or making any derogatory remarks to ANY official ( Up ref, down ref, or line judges). Keep in mind.. they are human.. and most of the time they are kids. Penalty is immediate dismissal from gym, no warning. Region teams may face sanction to participate in future tournaments.  

Officials/ Players (NEW FOR 2008): 
Palmetto Region requires that while on officiating duty, no one is to have in possession a cell phone, I-pod or song listening device, or food. This includes R1 Up Ref, R2 Down Ref, Line Judges and especially, scorekeepers.  First offense will be a warning, 2nd offense will be loss of official certification, 3rd may include sanction from tournament play.   

All region tournaments will begin at 8:30am, unless otherwise posted. Gyms open at 8am, All teams must report to captains meeting at 8:15 in the event of schedule change.

From Aiken / Augusta:  Take I-26 East towards Columbia and then Exit #51.  Turn left and go over the bridge on Pisgah Church Road.  Stay on Pisgah Church Road for a few miles until you get to Highway 1 (landmarks - - cross the railroad tracks, there is a golf course to your right and then a residential area.  Also, right before you hit Highway 1 you will see a soccer field and Lexington Technology Center to your left ).  Turn left onto Highway 1 (Augusta Highway) and then go a few hundred yards.  You will see an entrance way to the gym between Lexington Technology Center and Lexington High School.  The gym is at the end of this entry way, with baseball field to your left.
