not shown on our list, contact you club director, they will notify the region

Junior Team
Minimum Requirements:
Each team must have the
following minimum requirements of certified officials per team before
participating in sanctioned tournaments. Note: Juniors are
encouraged to seek their Regional Rating Certification to avoid annual certifications.

Two certified scorekeepers.
·
One certified junior referee for R1 and
two certified junior referees for R2 . 14 under
doesn't need R1 player certified.
·
One certified coach or adult as a
scorekeeper, R1 and R2 referee.
Junior Players must be rated
a Regional Referee in order to perform R1 Duties. We encourage coaches/adult perform
R1 duties, REQUIRED in the ages of 14 and below.
REFEREE REQUIREMENTS
Past players
should check to see your
current
status. Once you obtain your regional
rating, you will be certified for three seasons. If you do not obtain a regional rating, you will
need to take a clinic and test each year.
“Regional”
Referee Certification:
-
Be in good standing with the
region.

Must be a USAV member.

Obtain two rating within season
(passing grade of 3 or above). One may be done by your club,
if you have an approved regional rater. (Inner
club rating are not paid by region to rater. )

Take the online clinic and test below and pass.

To maintain regional status, every
three years member must meet required requirements of taking test above and
obtain two rating with passing grade of 3 or above.
It is the members responsibility to seek out a regional
rater during a tournament or clinic and obtain rating. Rating must be remitted
to regional office in order to be credited.

NOTE:

referee clinic

We have had some take the test in
other browsers and ran into issues.

The new clinic, with test are designed
to be taken by individual members.
It will take from 1 to 2 Hrs average to complete from start to
finish and you must complete once you start.
Groups must be pre-approved
by region prior to taking and entering answers/info. Email Larry
with details on how you plan to administer the clinic.

CLINIC is now an online computer clinic- you view
and take a test as you go through chapters. After completion, you will be
told to go to another webpage, where you will enter your information that will
be sent to our region.
2) You will need to allot 60-90 minutes to
take the clinic- you can't start and finish at a different time. Once you start-
you must complete to get credit. You will answer questions as you go.
Once you finish, it will prompt you to enter your information for Palmetto
Region.
3) To get regional certification, your Club director will have to remit a form once you have completed
your clinic and received your 2 tournament certifications.
The referee clinic is
available online at the link below. If it pauses or
starts to buffer- slide the bottom bar to
right slightly, it should continue. You may
have to allow it to buffer and start again.

UPDATE: We
made a change in an effort to resolve the
issues that folks have been having with the
online clinic/test. All you need to do
now is to click the link below and then take
the test. Be sure to follow all
directions and complete during one sitting
as you will not be able to start where you
left off.
