Don't worry- so times it get confusing.  Here is a STEP BY STEP of what to do-  First and foremost:

The join process begins by the person who is registering determining if he/she is a new or  renewing/returning member (85% returning) of USA Volleyball. 

New Online Members:            Those who are previous members USA Volleyball in any region within the last year and have never used the online system.  These individuals will begin the process by requesting a login to access their personal record in the system.  All personal information will already be completed before choosing a membership type and roles for the membership.  Any changes or updates to personal information can be made at this time. Renewing Online Members:    Those who have previously used the online system and need to renew their membership. These individuals will begin the process by simply logging into their account and clicking the renew link.  All personal information will already be completed before choosing a membership type and roles for the membership.  Any changes or updates to personal information can be made at this time. The join process is set up to handle two different categories of members, Adult and Junior.  These categories are determined using the applicant’s date of birth.  The adults are then broken down by those applying to be affiliated with a junior program and those who are not.  Only those affiliated with a junior program may necessitate a background screening authorization.  If so, it will be automatically added to their application process.

 Once application is complete, an automated email is sent to confirm receipt of their application.    Once the region indicates payment and receipt of forms in the system, the applicant will become a member with a current status and receive an email notification of that membership status. 

ADULTS:  Must mail in your waiver form and fee direct to region office.
JUNIORS: Must print waiver form and TAKE to your club director. Do not mail forms or remit money to region.

Keep in mind, this is just their membership status!  An adult can be a current member (player) but not a current coach of a junior program without meeting additional requirements in the system.  The status for Coaching or other roles with a Junior program will remain at pending until all requirements are met. Only, once those requirements are met, will that person be able to be added to a junior roster.

REQUEST A LOGIN SCREEN  WHAT YOU SEE STEP BY STEP.

REMEMBER:  This screen is for Current  Members.   Information for New members, read below.  If you were registered last year, you should be in the system... you can click here to make sure you are:

1) Enter required information and the EMAIL of the actual applicant.  This email address will overwrite that which is in the system at that time.

2) Click REQUEST LOGIN button and an email will be sent with login information to the email address provided.  (See screen below).

 

 

3) Click OK button, wait a few minutes and check your email for USERNAME AND PASSWORD.  You will be provided a LINK to click to return to a Log on Screen...

Enter Username and Password provided in the email.

The system will require the user to reset his/her password for security purposes.

1.                  Change their password (case sensitive). no spaces.

2.                  Choose to Renew Online to begin the Application Process on the Member Information Screen. (personal information will be pre-populated)

3) Simply check the information to errors. Make sure you indicate the CLUB you will be associated with, if you are a junior member.

MEMBER INFORMATION SCREEN  FOR NEW MEMBERS

1.                  The Applicant must complete all REQUIRED information (marked with a red asterisks).

2.                  The information entered will qualify the applicant as a junior or adult member (based on DOB), limiting the entry requirements for the next two fields while also limiting their choices for membership (next screen).  
NOTE: Level of play for a JUNIOR player will be automatically assigned using the age definitions and may not be manipulated thereafter.  Once DOB and Level of Play are submitted in application process, those fields CAN ONLY be changed by region or national office admin users with proper documentation.

3.                  Click CONTINUE at the bottom of the screen.

 

AT THIS TIME, THE SYSTEM WILL DETERMINE IF THE APPLICANT IS CONSIDERED AN ADULT OR JUNIOR AND PROCEED TO THE NEXT SCREEN ACCORDINGLY.

 

MEMBERSHIP TYPE/INTEREST SCREEN - JUNIOR

 

 

FOR JUNIOR MEMBERS ONLY:

The Membership Type/Interest screen allows the member to choose the JUNIOR membership type, club and indicate ALL other areas of interest (coaching & officiating) if allowable by the region.

1.                  Choose a club if known.

2.                  Choose membership type (required) and areas of interest/preferences (not required).

3.                  Juniors must enter their parent/guardian name.  This will then print out on the waiver form.

4.                  Click SUBMIT button.
